Threading is a method of hair removal originating in Middle East and is now widely used in the cosmetic community worldwide. Eyebrow threading is a form of epilation-meaning this process removes the entire hair, including the root.

What's included in this service?

We’ll start with cleaning the skin under & around the eyebrows with a gentle  cleanser with alcohol to make sure the area is sterile. The technician will hold a piece of thread between their hands & twist it. They will then hold the end of the twisted thread over the section of hair you want removed, moving the thread in a swift motion. This motion traps hairs between threads, lifting them out whole.This process is quick, taking only about ten minutes with your experienced technician.

Threading is less painful than many expect, especially when compared to waxing or tweezing. Threading removes multiple hairs at once, so there’s little time for pain receptors to react. There’s also no contact with the skin, making it gentler for those with acne-prone or sensitive skin. As with any epilation process, there will be some irritation around the area which is why we apply soothing organic Aloe gel to your brows to finish off your service.

If redness persists, it can be helpful to ice the area. Remember to always apply sunscreen to the area as it can be more sensitive to our bright San Diego sun!Maintaining threaded eyebrows is easy, come in every 4-6 weeks, pre booking is always available!
